Cornell vs. NCSU vs. KSU vs. Illinois vs. Wisconsin (IS): Zoological/Wildlife Medicine Focus
First of all, I want to acknowledge how blessed I am to have these options to choose from. With that being said, I want to make my decision sooner rather than later so that I can open up seats at the schools I do not choose to attend.
My primary career interest is zoological/wildlife medicine with a One Health focus. I am not interested in exotic pet animal medicine but rather working in zoological parks, at wildlife rehabilitation centers, or with free-ranging wildlife. I applied to these...

First Time Observing PT
I am shadowing a PT for the first time this Monday and was wondering if anyone had any helpful tips or advice. I will be shadowing an outpatient that typically deals with sports rehabilitation for athletes. Any pointers or good questions to ask would be greatly appreciated thanks! Anybody know about a company called PharmaCare Services?
I applied to an accepted an offer as a PRN Pharmacist at a Rehabilitation Hospital in Florida. I spoke with the Director a Pharmacy and they promised me verbally hours on Friday to start, then remote order entry on the weekends as time goes on. The work schedule is not in writing yet as the employer still has the background check on the drug screen to evaluate, which I feel will not be a problem. The goal of the position was to use premixed bags for IVs (including vancomycin and...

Importance of research area for postdocs
Hello all, 2nd year clinical PhD student here. My ultimate career goals include either clinical health or rehabilitation psych hopefully at an AMC.
The lab I am in at my program is great, and I should have plenty of publications/posters by the time I’m applying to post-docs. However, the research area is not necessarily directly related to either of these two fields (mostly SUDs, which I know are often relevant to health/rehab populations but this is not the focus of our lab).
When...

Prosth, Perio, OMFS, or GP?
I’m a D4 student, and I’m interested in prosth, perio, and oral surgery. I’m interested in doing things like extraction, full mouth rehabilitation, all-on-4, implants, anesthesia, and sinus lift. I can’t decide which specialty I like the most because we can’t do these advanced procedures at dental school, so I’m planning to do a GPR first to get more experience in doing more complex cases, so that I can decide what I want to do.
Prosth: I think I may be a little more interested in prosth...
