Samuel Merritt DPT 2022-2023
Hi! I just wanted to start a thread for those who have applied to Samuel Merritt’s DPT program this cycle. Samuel Merritt’s website said we should be hearing back in December.

Math and Science GPA: 3.64
Pre-Requisite GPA: 3.56
GRE: not planning to take
Outpatient PT: 166.57 hours
Inpatient PT: 54 hours
Work Experience:
Working as a 1:1 companion at a hospital: total hours: 346 hours
Volunteer hours: 219.79
5 letter of possible recommendations: 2 PTs, 2 Professors and 1 supervisor

NYC DPT Programs
I was recently admitted to columbia, nyu, and touro's PT schools.
Touro is the cheapest option by a lot
Columbia's location is not the greatest as it is all the way up manhattan
NYU is super expensive but I like the location
Overall each program has many connections and I will get a good education at any of them, so now it comes down to the name, location, and cost. I really need help deciding because when I try to be financially smart, Touro is the best option, it is in a good...

Home Health
I've become increasingly interested in the field of home health and I'm highly likely to pursue it after graduation and licensure. I have a good shot of having my 4th clinical education with Bayada. In my area, Fox Rehab and Bayada seem to be two of the top home health providers. Bayada also partners with Jefferson and other local hospitals. If any current home health therapists/assistants can answer a few of my questions or provide advice I'd appreciate it.

Eastern Washington University DPT
Hi Everyone! I was just curious if anyone had received an acceptance letter from Eastern Washington University DPT program for this upcoming fall of 2023. It says on their website that we should receive acceptance letters on 12/15/22 and wait list on 01/15/23. Just curious if anyone has received any news! Trying to stay hopeful as this is my number one school! Please let me know if you guys have heard anything back! Or if no news is good news, or means that I may be on the waitlist?

Choosing between Florida schools..
Hello! I have been fortunate enough to receive acceptances to:
UCF
FGCU
USF
St. Aug
I am still waiting on UF, UNF.
I have eliminated st. Aug due to price, and I have also eliminated FGCU.
This leaves me potentially with USF, UCF, and UF as my serious contenders.
These three schools seem to be relatively equivalent, essentially the same prices (about 67k). There’s some differences both pros and cons about the cities they are in, but not enough to be a good reason to eliminate them. I was...
