USA MOT Fall 2021 Cycle
Hi everyone! I was wondering about the University of St. Augustine MOT Program and how competitive it is. My GPA right now is a 3.34 and I'm worried that won't cut it. For those who got accepted or got interviews what were your stats? Thank you!! (Source: Student Doctor Network)

OTCAS Experiences Question
Hi everyone! I'm currently working on my OTCAS application and wanted to ask if anyone could help me with classifying an experience in the "Experiences" section. I have been working as a rehab tech in an outpatient clinic for the past year and I am still currently working there. I'm not sure whether this would be classified under "Healthcare Experience", "Internships and Clinical Experiences", or simply "Employment". I'm paid for this position and spend the majority of my workdays helping... OTCAS Experiences Question (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Acute care vs. inpatient rehab OT setting fieldwork/career?
Hello! So I am very early into my OT program but we are being asked to provide some insight into what we currently think would be an ideal setting (nothing set in stone, just to get an idea). I'm torn between acute care and inpatient rehab right now. I like the idea of being able to stick with patients and watch them progress, but I also am drawn to the high medical component and fast pace of acute care. I also anticipate learning a lot in acute care and really want to pick up on as much... Acute care vs. inpatient rehab OT setting fieldwork/career? (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Course classification question: Traditional BCPM courses listed under Health Science
Hello, I just graduated from OT school. Two classes that I took in OT school included neuroscience and neuroscience of behavior. These courses were listed under occupational therapy, but I know that traditionally, they could be classified under BCPM. When I'm filling out the course classification guide, could I change these to biology? I'm just unsure because this wasn't a post-bacc, and it was an actual program. thanks! Relocating for OT program
Hey everyone! I was recently admitted to Howard U in Washington D.C. but I currently live all the way in Texas. I was also accepted to University of St. Augustine in Austin, TX so I am facing quite a dilemma. My heart is set on Howard's program but I am concerned about the distance and difference in cost of living in the DMV compared to TX. Anyway, I just wanted to get any advice from anyone who faced a similar issue and how a decision was made. Thanks in advance!!! (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Future Employment Opportunities
Hi! Does a OT school's ranking play a role in getting a job in the future?? Does going to school on the West coast make it hard to obtain a job on the East coast and vice versa?? (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Thomas Jefferson University (PA) or Touro University (NV)
Hi, I am trying to decide between Thomas Jefferson University in Center City, PA and Touro University, in Henderson, NV. I am from Central NJ and in the long run would like to work/live in the East coast. Nevada is the highest paying state for OTs, which is a reason I would go to Touro then work there, and move back to to the East in the future. Thomas Jefferson is ranked #6 for OT schools in the country and is located on the East coast. Does ranking and a school's name matter in the future... Ask me anything!
I just finished with my OTD application process! I applied to five schools, 2 of them I won't hear back from till the Spring, and was accepted into all 3 of the other programs! I know it is a stressful time when you are going through the application/interviewing process, so if you have any questions about the OTD feel free to ask! (Source: Student Doctor Network)
