Hi everyone! I find myself searching through larger forums to find out if people got interviews/acceptances to schools in or around the Philadelphia area, and I thought it might be helpful to have a separate forum to make it easier to talk about with each other.
Personally, I applied to the Masters programs at Gwynedd Mercy, Temple, Thomas Jefferson, and Salus. I know Gwynedd Mercy doesn't review applications until February, but have people heard back from Temple/TJU/Salus or any others...

Application for Fall 2021
Hello I applied to these schools for OT. Boston University, UNC Chapel-Hill, University of Pittsburgh and NYU. Can you guys let me know if I am a competitive applicant, my cumulative gpa is a 3.8, but my pre reqs gpa is around a 3.04 it should go up this semester. OT School social life?
So I’m just curious.. is anyone excited to like make friends with people in their future cohorts? Because I am. I didn’t really make any friends in my 4 years of undergrad so I’m hoping OT school will be different. Those who are in OT school now would you say you’ve been making good friendships? Least Expensive OT Schools?
Currently, I am applying to different OT Masters and Doctorate programs and was wondering what schools you guys have found that are the cheapest? Genuinely curious OT school
If a school that’s really expensive accepted you but the reasonably priced ones you applied to didn’t accept you..what would you do? Would you still go? Or would you apply for the next term? & the expensive school would range from 90-140k (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Major: Biology
Minors: Japanese
Overall GPA: 3.65
Last 60 hours GPA: 3.5 (not including the prereqs, which were taken after graduation and is 4.0)
Pre-Req GPA: 4.0
GRE: did not take
Work Experience: Teaching and tutoring (nothing OT or healthcare related). Currently infant teacher at daycare.
Observation hours: only 33 hours at an outpatient peds in March. Haven't been able to shadow since...

Interview Short Notice
Hi everyone,
I just heard back from one of the schools I applied to. I’m assuming their online interview dates have filled up already before extending an interview to me, the only options left were next Monday Nov 2 and then Jan 21.

interview help?
Hi everyone!
I'm starting to get some invitations to interview and, although my university has a great career services office that is helping me with basic interview skills, our pre-health advisors know basically nothing about OT and OT programs. (They didn't even know there were two different degrees, MSOT and OTD, until I told them...) So, I don't really feel like I have many nearby resources to lean on as I prepare to interview.
