USA MOT San Marcos May 2020
Hi guys,
Just got my acceptance to USA this morning! Will anyone else be accepting their spots? Though I like the campus and the environment, there are a couple things that I am still considering. The tuition is on the high side and the fieldwork question (whether we get to put our preference down). If this campus is not your first choice, what are some deciding factors for you guys? OT student considering medical school -- looking for input
Hi, all
I'm a first year Occupational Therapy student considering medical school and I was looking for some input about the following issues:
1. Should I wait until after graduation to take the plunge or cut my losses and start now in order to save money and time?
2. I had a winding path to get to OT, let alone medical school (BA in psych -> gap year taking chemistry and anatomy/physiology at a community college). Should I try for a postbacc? Would the community college prerequisites work...

Fall semester undergrad OT prospective student Spring 2020 or Fall 2021
Is anyone else kinda stressed about this whole coronavirus outbreak and how it's interfering with being able to complete observation hours and taking the GRE. I wonder if some schools would be more lenient towards these things due to the pandemic (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Current Students Thoughts on BU
I recently got accepted to BU and as someone who isn't necessarily research focused, I am wondering how current students like the program, and if they went in with a more research focused mindset, or if they were interested in the more hands on application of OT school? I'm struggling with the financial costs, and weighing them with the curriculum, but it is hard to tell how the school actually is from an outsiders perspective.
