How Do We Motivate Long-Term Behavior Change to Prevent Cancer?
Annual Advances in Cancer Prevention Lecture Dr. John Pierce is a professor in the Department of Family and Prevention Medicine at the University of California, San Diego and Director of Population Science at Moores Cancer Center. He helped initiate the world's first statewide tobacco control program in Australia in the early 1980s. He also started the Women's Healthy Living and Eating Project which tested the role of plant-based dietary patterns in preventing recurrence among breast cancer survivors.
