I was just wondering if you guys think my stats are realistic for getting interviews from the schools I'm applying to. I am a CA resident who just graduated as a biology / Norwegian double major from St. Olaf and am applying this cycle.

1099 and CME
What's the most that one can reasonably deduct for a CME out of their total income? I haven't seen a clear cut answer on this and have done 1099 for awhile. If you made 80 k in IC could deduct 10k CME if you took a CME in Norway with the Norway volleyball team? (Source: Student Doctor Network)

If I am doing a US citizen doing a master's program in Norway, will MD/PhD programs require me to fly for interviews?
Hey! I am considering a 2 year MSc and do not want to take more gap years than I have to. If I am doing a US citizen doing a master's program in Norway, will MD/PhD programs require me to come back to the US for interviews? This would be in like 3 years, so I wonder if Zoom would become more acceptable. I suppose this would perhaps put me at a disadvantage.
