Does anyone else think that DATbooster has the weirdest PA tests versus actual DAT and DATbootcamp?
Im looking at problems like 'key and hole' and TFE and the booster seems to focus waaaay more on dimension and volume metrics, like "oh, this side is 1 nanometer longer than you thought". Meanwhile I tried a little bit of bootcamp again and it seems to focus more on shape and structure. I don't remember much from the actual DAT test but I got a ~20/21 on the PA section but I am currently struggling with booster; so much so I doubt that the DAT well be anything like this. Residency with Low GPA: Would perceptorship help?
Hello everyone! I hold a Bachelors in Dentistry, 10 years of experience, and my undergrad GPA is low (percentage-wise it's 72%, not sure how ECE would translate it to yet). I am very interested in a residency, but I believe my low GPA would kill my chances. Would a preceptorship in the same specialty I am going to apply for a residency in improve my chances? The preceptorship would run all my savings dry, so I would like to know if I should go this route or if I would be playing roulette... (Source: Student Doctor Network)

HELP! going back to clinical medicine after 3 years
Hey everyone, I am going back to start my CA-1 (anesthesia) year in July. I took the last 3 years off of clinical medicine to do research and am now going back. What general internal medicine review books would anyone recommend I read to get refreshed?...I haven't taken care of a patient since starting research and am a bit concerned. I don't feel like I remember anything from internship and need to get up to speed on general internal medicine. Thanks!!! (Source: Student Doctor Network)
