Decaffeinated green tea polyphenols supplementation had no adverse health effects in girls with obesity: a randomized controlled trial
CONCLUSIONS: This study indicated that the supplementation of 400 mg/d DGTP for 12 weeks had no adverse health effects in girls with obesity, providing evidence for the DGTP adoption in children research.PMID:38494693 | DOI:10.6133/apjcn.202403_33(1).0012 (Source: Asia Pacific Journal of Clinical Nutrition)

Association between uncarboxylated osteocalcin, blood glucose, and BMI among Saudi diabetic patients: an evaluation study
CONCLUSIONS: We concluded that, in Saudi type II diabetes mellitus patients, the compromised glucose level is associated with diminished serum uncarboxylated osteocalcin. This study has limitations, such as a small sample size and only measuring the uncarboxylated form of plasma osteocalcin. Future research is needed to understand how anti-diabetic drugs affect undercarboxylated osteocalcin's effect on metabolic control and provide more efficient techniques and resources in diabetes and osteoporosis prevention and care.PMID:38497883 | DOI:10.26355/eurrev_202403_35615 (Source: European Review for Medical and Pharmacological Sciences)
