Projecting Cardiovascular Deaths Averted due to Trans Fat Policies in the Eurasian Economic Union
CONCLUSION: This study demonstrates the potential population health gains that can be derived from effective policies to reduce TFAs in line with WHO guidance. Monitoring and surveillance systems are needed to evaluate the effectiveness of the TFA-reduction policies in a national context.PMID:36184895 | DOI:10.1017/S1368980022001872 (Source: Public Health Nutrition)

The detection and phylogenetic analysis of Anaplasma phagocytophilum-like 1, A. ovis and A. capra in sheep: A. capra divides into two genogroups
In this study, the presence, prevalence, and genotypes ofAnaplasma phagocytophilum, A. ovis, andA. capra in sheep were investigated based on 16  S SSU rRNA,groEL, andgtlA gene-specific polymerase chain reaction (PCR), respectively. The sequences of the genes were used for detection of the phylogenetic position of the species. Additionally, a restriction fragment length polymorphism (RFLP) were carried out for discrimination ofA. phagocytophilum and related variants (A. phagocytophilum-like 1 and 2). The prevalence ofAnaplasma spp. was found as 25.8% (101/391), while it was found thatA.ovis,A. phagocytophilum-like 1, andA....

by Norbert Bozsik, Julieth P. Cubillos T., Bopushev Stalbek, L ászló Vasa, Róbert Magda The research presents an analysis of the food security policy effectiveness on the component of food availability and access in two developing countries, Colombia and Kyrgyzstan, during the period from 2000 to 2018. Determining the state of their food balance trade and the regression analysis for the Food Production Index of the countries, considering four economic indicators. Thus the study attempts to show that policies and strategies have not reached the expected results in terms of reduction of food imports dependency and streng...
