Comparison between the WHO ‐CFICPS and the PRISMA classification of safety‐related events in a radiation oncology department
ConclusionAlthough there was a significant association between WHO-CFICPS and PRISMA, The PRISMA method provides a more detailed insight into SREs compared to WHO-CFICPS in a RT department. (Source: Journal of Medical Imaging and Radiation Oncology)

Transcatheter CT arteriography ‐guided irreversible electroporation of locally advanced pancreatic adenocarcinoma: A pictorial essay
SummaryVisibility of the tumour and its surroundings during the ablative procedure is crucial for optimal treatment planning, needle placement, ablation zone coverage and postprocedural control. The use of transcatheter CT arteriography providing real-time image guidance has proven to be of additional value for thermal liver ablation. The general advantages of the technique could be of value for other indications and ablation techniques as well, especially when requiring multiple needle placements in the vicinity of precarious vascular structures. This pictorial essay presents six clinical cases that illustrate transcathet...

PSMA ‐PET‐guided dose‐escalated volumetric arc therapy for newly diagnosed lymph node‐positive prostate cancer: 5 Year outcomes following the FROGG and EviQ node‐positive guidelines
ConclusionOutcomes following FROGG guidelines and EviQ are promising, with high long-term disease control and low toxicity. Contouring guidelines require modification due to the high rate of PET-positive nodes demonstrated beyond recommended coverage. (Source: Journal of Medical Imaging and Radiation Oncology)

A quantitative analysis of spectral computed tomography characteristics of osseous metastases
ConclusionSpectral analysis of osseous metastases demonstrated significantly elevated values in effective atomic number, electron density and calcium suppression as compared to normal bone which would be useful adjunct quantitative parameters in CT imaging to increase diagnostic confidence. Pacemaker in patients undergoing mammography: A limitation for breast cancer diagnosis?
ConclusionAlthough rare, the coexistence of a pacemaker in patients undergoing mammography is associated with reduced image quality due to suboptimal breast visualization and reduced compression, and as a result, this may eventually lead to decreased diagnostic efficacy. Role of stereotactic body radiotherapy for inferior vena cava tumour thrombus in hepatocellular carcinoma
ConclusionStereotactic body radiotherapy is a safe and feasible option for HCC patients with IVC and right atrium tumour thrombosis. It not only improves the quality of life but also results in good LC and OS with acceptable toxicity. SBRT should be considered in a multidisciplinary fashion for patients presenting with tumour thrombosis extending to IVC and the right atrium. A survey of compliance with stereotactic ablative body radiotherapy quality recommendations
ConclusionOverall, the centres surveyed reported good compliance with most of the RANZCR SABR guidelines. The tasks with the lowest compliance were those that monitor quality outcomes. Potential strategies for improvement include inclusion in clinical trials and the use of databases which link treatment parameters, dosimetry and outcomes. Further work will focus on the barriers identified in this survey and propose practical solutions to improve compliance in these areas. (Source: Journal of Medical Imaging and Radiation Oncology)

Traumatic pseudoaneurysm of the internal iliac artery following bone marrow aspiration in a child: An extremely rare complication of a very common procedure
SummaryPresented here is a very rare and potentially life-threatening complication of a very common procedure. Vascular injury with traumatic pseudoaneurysm following BMAT in a paediatric patient has only been reported once in the literature to the best of our knowledge. Presented here is a second case, with pathognomonic imaging findings on CT that underwent successful coil embolisation. (Source: Journal of Medical Imaging and Radiation Oncology)
