Cilostazol plus Aspirin vs. Clopidogrel plus Aspirin in Acute Minor Stroke or Transient Ischemic Attack
CONCLUSIONS: The effectiveness and mortality of the two groups were similar for patients with acute minor ischemic stroke or TIA. However, cilostazol plus aspirin was associated with a higher risk of ICH compared to clopidogrel plus aspirin. Patients treated with cilostazol plus aspirin among this population should be monitored carefully to ensure their safety.PMID:38092384 | DOI:10.5551/jat.64502 (Source: Journal of Atherosclerosis and Thrombosis)

Impact of the Japanese Version of High Bleeding Risk Criteria on Clinical Outcomes in Patients with ST-segment Elevation Myocardial Infarction
CONCLUSIONS: J-HBR is significantly associated with MACE and total bleeding events in patients with STEMI. This study validated J-HBR as a risk marker for bleeding events and suggests J-HBR as a potential risk marker for MACE in patients with STEMI.PMID:38092385 | DOI:10.5551/jat.64445 (Source: Journal of Atherosclerosis and Thrombosis)

Association between Myocardial Oxygen Supply and Demand and Myocardial Injury in Patients with End-Stage Kidney Disease
CONCLUSIONS: As the myocardial oxygen supply and demand balance in patients with ESKD is potentially associated with MI, appropriate management for blood pressure, PR, and anemia may prevent MI.PMID:38092391 | DOI:10.5551/jat.64455 (Source: Journal of Atherosclerosis and Thrombosis)

Utility of the ACD-GENE-CLI Score in Asian Patients with Critical Limb Ischemia Undergoing Endovascular Interventions
CONCLUSIONS: The modified ACD-GENE-CLI score could differentiate patients with CLI receiving clopidogrel who are at risk of MALEs. Further studies are required to generalize the utility of the score.PMID:38092392 | DOI:10.5551/jat.64326 (Source: Journal of Atherosclerosis and Thrombosis)
