The advantages of utilizing different ultrasound imaging techniques on joints of human cadavers in the teaching of anatomy - A scoping review
CONCLUSION: The current study, in our perspective, is the first scoping review to screen ultrasound studies on human cadaver joints. A heterogeneous field was shown by the methodological investigation. We suggest using a uniform method for conducting and presenting ultrasound examinations in future studies.PMID:37879500 | DOI:10.1016/j.aanat.2023.152179 (Source: Annals of Anatomy)

The influence of collaborative learning and self-organisation on medical students' academic performance in anatomy
CONCLUSION: Initiative collaborative learners showed a higher degree of realistic self-assessment. This could be explained through a more distinct social referencing, as fellow students' knowledge levels can be related early on to their own academic performance. There was no correlation between the learning strategies used and the exam result.PMID:37879501 | DOI:10.1016/j.aanat.2023.152182 (Source: Annals of Anatomy)

Resveratrol can improve spinal cord injury by activating Nrf2/HO-1 signaling pathway
In this report, we analyze the antioxidant effect of resveratrol in SCI, clarify the specific mechanism of action and provide a theoretical basis for the clinical employment of resveratrol for SCI.PMID:37879499 | DOI:10.1016/j.aanat.2023.152180 (Source: Annals of Anatomy)
