Remimazolam: Useful or Useless?
A few articles have come out describing the characteristics of remimazolam infusions and it appears to have been approved for use in Japan as a general anesthetic. Is there time for recreation/cycling in medical school? What bike should I get for recreation?
I realized that I'm moving to an area where there are more than 100 miles of bike trails. I just discovered some local running trails where I live a few months ago and I think running on these trails (I do 2 hours, 20 kilometers), has been very helpful to my mental health. I don't currently own a bike, but I've been researching and was thinking of dropping $350 for a decent road bike made by Fuji Bikes of Japan. I plan on just spending one morning every week maybe biking for a few hours... Is there time for recreation/cycling in medical school? What bike should I get for recreation? In the event of a hypothetical war/conflict, should an Iranian-American candidate apply as "white" or "other-Iranian" or "other-middle eastern"?
Hi all, I hope this isn't a stupid question but the recent political turmoil between the USA and Iran has got me on edge. I know in an ideal world your ethnicity shouldn't matter but we all remember Japanese interment and I am worried about bias against middle eastern (specially Iranians) should conflict arrive. Initially I wanted to Identify as middle eastern, mostly because I don't like being lumped in as "white" when I am not, but with the recent political turmoil I hesitate to do...
