Geriatric anesthesia

Segmentectomy vs Lobectomy (JCOG0802 study)...
This tweet below is a good thread to follow, segmentectomy vs lobectomy... It was first published in Sept. 2019 (J Thorac Cardiovasc Surg), and updated at #AATS2021. There is more labor involved in segmentectomy (more O.R. time), this is similar to previous Japanese studies of segmentectomy. Hats off to the Japanese surgeons. Awaiting the CALGB trial...
