What ’s everyone’s opinion of PCOM-South GA
Hey guys the title says it all. I’m looking for an opinion about PCOM-South GA. I’ve been accepted there and waitlisted a couple places. I chose PCOM South Georgia even though it’s a new program because of its affiliation with PCOM and the numerous opportunities available as the first class. I also want to practice in a rural environment. What do people usually think of these newer schools with an affiliation with an established program? (Source: Student Doctor Network)

PA end goal. Where do I go from here?
Hello everyone, A little about myself. I have been working as an EMT in the state of Georgia for about four years now. I have two months left of my paramedic course. When I graduate from my paramedic school I will have an associates degree. Halfway through paramedic school, I decided that I did not want to be in EMS my whole career but that my experience in EMS can be a good stepping stone for higher career opportunities. I decided after much thought that I want to become a physician... PA end goal. Where do I go from here? (Source: Student Doctor Network)

wRVU Compensation Rates
Hey guys, Just asking around since I have spent the majority of last 2 days while on PTO searching for Median wRVU rates on AMGA/MGMA. Have any of you found any median rates for the Northeast (Pennsylvania) vs Southeast (Georgia, Florida) for newly minted FM docs doing outpatient only? Have seen a couple offers now with wRVU rates in $38 from $42 in rural regions in PA and did not know if this is expected or on low side. Appreciate any input. (Source: Student Doctor Network)

DARTMOUTH vs. U. MIAMI vs. RUSH
Hi everyone, I would love to hear your thoughts! Info: I want to match either in Massachusetts or Georgia (family ties to both), but prefer to be in the south long term. I'm interested in Emergency Medicine/Trauma or OB/GYN, but do not want to rule out Derm/Infectious Disease or whatever may absorb my attention. I am very used to the cold, but really wanted to end up in Georgia this cycle (warm, but it can get chilly outside = perfect) - that clearly did not work out [emoji28]. I am very... DARTMOUTH vs. U. Stuck between two colleges
I have a 3.85 GPA from Arizona State University, but it’s an online degree - I live in Georgia. Originally wanted to be a PA, but decided to go the MD route or I’d forever regret it. Now I’m deciding between which college to go to. Here are my choices: University of Georgia PROS: highly respected university in the southeast, tons of research opportunities with publishing opportunities, more rigorous work to better prepare me for med school, amazing culture and lifestyle, great sports teams... Help me come up with a school list please!
Hello all, I will be applying this upcoming cycle, and am looking for suggestions on a school list. I'm in state in Georgia, so will be submitting an app to MCG, Mercer, and Emory.
