Ankle biter tasks
Just curious (as a current fellow) what attending life looks like in regards to the little “ankle biter” tasks from nurses/RT/pharmacy that seem to pile up and really jam up work flow in the unit. Would also be very curious if this changes with having an APP or solo coverage. Things like… Patient needs “mechanical soft” modification of their diet orders Restraint orders need to be renewed at 6:55 pm The duonebs are ordered as inhalation but we need it ordered as via ET tube RT can’t... Food
Adams applauds NYC hospitals for feeding patients plant-based meals over meat by default in climate push Eric Adams cheered NYC hospitals for serving patients plant-based meals, saying food production/consumption is the city's third-largest source of emissions. www.foxnews.com Hahahahahaha. This is a recipe ... for disaster. When I say disaster, I mean low press ganey scores. An emerging realization for very large hospitals and health systems is that food served, and ability to get at non-routine meal times, greatly impact patient satisfacti...

Geriatric Unit Dispositions
As I watch the news these days. It dawned on me, if we are culturally accepting of our elected leaders having dementia, perhaps we should expand our geriatric unit dispositions. Expedite this pipeline. Arrange family meetings, at time of admission, for families that have a little bit more resources, to consult with political campaign managers, for their viability to run for office. Just check the box "Campaign Manager Consultation" it will be right under Social Work order, Dietary, and... Read more (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Tested to Trust / CVS
are they only testing brand name products only? brand products are not the problem..... the problem is with CVS generic. Cvs eye drops are watered down, creams are mostly creams and not much of the drugs in it, and tablets contain more white powder than the drug ingredients.. i tried a lot of CvS generic past ten years and the stuff don't work. getting into Pharmacy school /becoming a pharmacist with a sex offender registration in California
I would appreciate some objective advice without judgment. first a bit of background. As some may know I was in the education feild and was in it for nearly twenty years, and I was doing my pre-meds at the time as well. In early January 2020 I went to my primary care physician due to stomach pains and was found to have several ulcers, it was determined that due to stress and poor diet I needed a lifestyle change... Low Dose Naltrexone
My pharmacy will no longer make 4.5mg Naltrexone solution for me. I would still like to have that as an options for patients. The pharmacy has the 50mg tabs, so I was wondering if someone has come up with a good way to get the patient to make it for themselves (dissolving in a diet coke or something). production and what should be included?
An offer I am considering in GP: excludes specialist procedures and services, private cremations, prescription and diet refills. I receive 13% for new prescriptions, prescription diets, flea control recommendations in conjunction with exams. Is this similar to what others are receiving in their offers? I just want to ensure this is fair, I remember discussing briefly in class that diets often weren't included but perhaps things have changed since the demand for veterinarians is so high... Dietary advice needed
It demonstrates that people should try to consume: lots of potatoes, bread, rice, pasta, and other higher fibre starchy carbohydrates; at least five portions of a variety of fruits and vegetables; some beans, pulses, fish, eggs, meat, and other proteins; some dairy products or substitutes; and only small amounts of food and beverages that are high in fat and sugar. It is based on the five food groups and illustrates how much of each food category should be included in a healthy and... Read more (Source: Student Doctor Network)

HPSP Air Force OTS Coming Up
Hi all, I am an OMS-1 on HPSP about to finish 1st year. I am scheduled to go to OTS this summer (branch is USAF). At MEPS, I was EXACTLY the max weight allowance and that was after months of diet and exercise trying to get there. Today, I am about 25 lbs over the max weight limit. I definitely took to old eating habits and non-exercise during the first year of med school. I stated exercising again and Mediterranean dieting-ing it over the last couple of weeks, but it took me about 3 months... Read more (Source: Student Doctor Network)
