PUblic service loan forgiveness
Hi, So I graduated medical school and now work as a clinical trial coordinator making $40K. I have saved up 30k. I am one year into the pslf program (9 to go) and owe $190000. Should I repay some of my loans or wait 9 years (at a bad job) for loans to be forgiven? (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Clinical research opportunity but no lab, worth it?
I have an opportunity to volunteer on a clinical trial being conducted at a local hospital, but there is no lab and I'm not sure how long it will last/if it will be a long term commitment. I'm also not sure if I would be able to get an LOR out of it since there isn't really a "PI" since it is a nation-wide clinical trial. Would it still be worth it? (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Applying to Pharmacy School after DO Dismissal
Hello everyone...I got dismissed from DO school in 2016 (after about 3.5 years) for disciplinary reasons-leaving on-call early and contacting sites about setting up rotations. Within 6 months of that I was lucky to get a job in clinical trial management making about 70-80K. The company was very nice to give me a chance and I obviously didn't go into detail about what happened as they were more interested in my clinical research background and previous work in pharma. Anyways, I've noticed... Applying to Pharmacy School after DO Dismissal (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Should I have my lab professor or should I have my PI write my letter of rec?
My dream is to run a clinical trial as a physician, so I would like to go to a school that has a great research program like Johns Hopkins or Rochester. Would they care more about writers title or the quality of the letter? I've developed a strong connection with my lab professor. I'm confident she would write me a spectacular letter, but I know having my lab PI would look better just because of his title. He would also write me a good letter because his letter would depend on feedback from... Should I have my lab professor or should I have my PI write my letter of rec? (Source: Student Doctor Network)

The FDA won't let me see the protocol for eteplirsen
so I'm researching eteplirsen for duchenne muscular dystrophy and wanted to see the clinical trial protocols submitted by Sarepta. Sarepta would not give it to me. So I contacted the FDA for a freedom of information request to see the protocols. The FDA denied the request. Shouldn't I be able to see the information that the FDA used(reviewed) to approve the drug?! (Source: Student Doctor Network)

The ethics of enrolling terminally ill patients in clinical trials
