Request for Applications: Center for Orphan Disease Research and Therapy Postdoctoral Fellowship for Research Related to Congenital Muscular Dystrophy
The CODRT Postdoctoral Fellowship provides a one‐year grant of $35,000 to support the salary of a Fellow while working on a mentored project related to a CODRT-funded disease. Eligibility At the time of application, the applicant must possess a Ph.D., M.D., or V.M.D. and should not have completed more than 5 years of postdoctoral research. At the time of award, the applicant must not be simultaneously serving an internship or residency. Call for Applications: 2014 Student National Dental Association Darryl Hawkins Memorial Scholarship
The Student National Dental Association (SNDA) has established a scholarship in the name of Dr. Darryl A. Hawkins, a 1989 graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University College of Dental Medicine and a very active member of the SNDA.  Dr. Hawkins died suddenly at the age of 27 from a cardiac arrhythmia on January 29, 1990 while jogging near his home in Marietta, Georgia.  As a member of SNDA, he served as Director of Regional Coordinators for the year 1988-1989.  Dr. Hawkins was a leader in the SNDA and we hope to commemorate his life through this scholarship.
