"Z-Pak" May Raise Risk of Serious Cardiac Arrhythmias
A warning from the FDA has stated that use of Z-Pak may increase the risk of serious, life-threatening cardiac arrhythmias, especially in patients with existing irregular heartbeats.  How will this warning affect the way physicians prescribe this widely-used antibiotic?  Will you simply avoid prescribing to those with pre-existing conditions, or will you be more mindful in all patients?
