cT1N0 breast cancer. RNI?
65 yo cT1N0 ER/PR- HER2+ with NA taxol/herceptin. s/p lumpectomy and SLNB, ypT1N1 with 4 mm focus of residual disease in the node. Had she been cT1N1 and ypT1N1 I'd do RNI. Had she been cT1N0 and pT1N1, I'd probably just do WBRT. Wondering if there's a way to not do RNI here. (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Breast IORT further whole breast
Quick question... I have a patient treated with IORT at an outside institution for a stage I breast cancer and ended up having a positive node (1/3 SLN's, 3 mm of disease in the node, no ECE) and other risk factors (LVSI, margin < 1 mm). There were recommended to have "25" more breast radiation treatments, but she lives closer to me so she wants it done here. I'm seeing in the Targit trial they often did hypofrac whole breast, so not sure where the rec for 25 fractions is coming from... Read more (Source: Student Doctor Network)

How Important Are Stats post-interview invite??
Applying anesthesia during this crazy COVID cycle. Only have 4 anesthesia interviews (plus 3 prelims) so far and I’m starting to get worried. My step 1 is meh (220) and my step 2 is even worse (220). I have extenuating circumstances for why the step 2 is bad (found out my sister has breast cancer literally the night before and had to take a train to her city immediately after my test so I felt distracted), but programs don’t know that and all they see is a bad score. Luckily, one of my four... How Important Are Stats post-interview invite?? (Source: Student Doctor Network)
