Drug residues detected in Swedish sewage water
(Umea University) Chemists at Umeå University in Sweden have been able to trace narcotics substances and prescription drugs in measurements of wastewater from 33 Swedish sewage treatment plants. Patterns of drug use changing, but risks remain, UK
A new report published by Public Health England, Shooting Up - infections among people who inject drugs in the United Kingdom 2012, found patterns of injecting drug use are changing, but infection risk for all drug users remains high.
