Conclusion
Here, we found robust evidence of CCD in a large sample of people with AD, a chronic neurodegenerative condition. The presence of this phenomenon in AD opens up a new avenue of research in AD pathogenesis and has the potential to change future diagnostic and therapeutic strategies.
