The Relationship Between Valproate and Lamotrigine/Levetiracetam Use and Prognosis in Patients With Epilepsy and Heart Failure: A Danish Register-Based Study

In this study, we found that valproate use was associated with higher rates of mortality due to all causes and to heart failure when compared with the other 2 medications during the first year of treatment.
