Changes in the quality of life score following preoperative chemotherapy in elderly patients with esophageal cancer
ConclusionsQuality of life scores of elderly patients with esophageal cancer who received preoperative chemotherapy decreased in terms of physical function but improved in terms of esophageal cancer symptoms and mental function. Our results suggest that alleviation of symptoms contributed to the improvements in mental health.
