Stopping mineralocorticoid receptor antagonists after hyperkalemia: trial emulation in data from routine care
ConclusionsStopping MRA after an episode of hyperkalemia was associated with reduced risk for recurrent hyperkalemia, but higher risk of death or cardiovascular events. Recurrent hyperkalemia was common in either strategy.
