Ohio's Sumit Sharma receives National Science Foundation CAREER award to study metallic nanoparticle

(Ohio University) Sumit Sharma, assistant professor of chemical and biomolecular engineering in Ohio University's Russ College of Engineering and Technology, was recently awarded a National Science Foundation (NSF) Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) five-year, $511,902 grant to study the adsorption behavior of surfactant, or soap-like, molecules on metallic nanoparticles.
