Prevention of Cardiovascular Events with Pitavastatin is Associated with Increased Serum Lipoprotein Lipase Mass Level: Subgroup Analysis of the TOHO-LIP

CONCLUSIONS: Pitavastatin administration reduced CV events more efficaciously than atorvastatin despite similar LDL cholesterol-lowering effect of the two statins.
