The APOB polymorphism rs1801701 A/G (p.R3638Q) is an independent risk factor for early-onset coronary artery disease: data from a Spanish cohort

This study was aimed to determine the effect of two APOB gene variants in the risk of developing early-onset coronary artery disease (EO-CAD) in a Spanish population. The association of these polymorphisms with hypercholesterolemia was also analysed.
