Technical Report: A New Device Attached to a Smartphone for Objective Vision Screening
CONCLUSIONS
The new device will provide the same functions as conventional streak retinoscopy but examines a child's both eyes simultaneously, so that, in addition to categorizing refractive errors and assessing clarity of refractive media of the eyes, it can also detect anisometropia, strabismus, and anisocoria. In addition to showing the examination results on the smartphone's screen, the device can also store the results electronically.
