Synergistic effects of cagA+ Helicobacter pylori co-infected with Opisthorchis viverrini on hepatobiliary pathology in hamsters.
This study demonstrates that the liver fluke co-infected with cagA-positive H. pylori induces severe biliary pathology that may predispose to cholangiocarcinogenesis.
