ConclusionWarfarin is the most effective intervention for preventing thromboembolism within 6 months post-bioprosthetic MVR surgery in Chinese patients in sinus rhythm. After 6 months, further warfarin therapy was unnecessary, and aspirin should not be routinely administered.
