Postoperative complications in hemorrhoidal disease and special conditions.
CONCLUSIONS: Pain, urinary retention and bleeding remain the most frequent complications after surgery for hemorrhoids; however, special situations must be taken into account in order to choose the best technique to prevent more severe complications.
