Input of serum haptoglobin fucosylation profile in the diagnosis of hepatocellular carcinoma in patients with non-cirrhotic liver disease

ConclusionHaptoglobin bifucosylated tetra-antennary glycan is associated with the presence of HCC in patients with chronic liver disease including those without cirrhosis. Its combination with existing HCC biomarkers could improve the performance of standard AFP for HCC detection.
