578: Fetoscopic spina bifida repair leads to prenatal reversal of hindbrain herniation
The primary goal of fetal surgery for spina bifida is reduction in postnatal treatment of hydrocephalus. Reversal of hindbrain herniation is considered an important antecedent for improved cerebrospinal fluid dynamics and a sign of neurosurgical success. The aim of this study is to evaluate prenatal ventricular size and hindbrain herniation (HBH) after fetoscopic spina bifida repair and relate it to postnatal outcome.
