Frequency and features of formation of chronic kidney disease (CKD) in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
Conclusion: violations of the functional state of the kidneys are detected in every fourth COPD patient. The presence of common links of pathogenesis (systemic inflammation, endothelial dysfunction) form a mutually aggravating effect of COPD on the genitourinary system, detecting changes at prenosological stage, which needs further study.
