Treatment of sarcoidosis - pentoxifylline

Conclusion:Combination of steroid with PF may be beneficial in Pts. with active sarcoidosis who do not respond to steroid therapy.PF may exert a steroid-sparing effect in the treatment of active sarcoidosis.Combine therapy reduces severe side of a long-lasting steroid therapy.
