Association between socioeconomic status and prognosis after ischemic stroke in South China.

Conclusions: Patients with low income, family caregiver, and no insurance have a poorer prognosis after ischemic stroke that can be partly explained by intermediate variable in the patients' demographic characteristics, cardiovascular disease, behavior lifestyle, and stroke severity. In this study, we identify a link between members of the genus Veillonella and exercise performance. We observed an increase in Veillonella relative abundance in marathon runners postmarathon and isolated a strain of Veillonella atypica from stool samples.
