Genetics can sometimes explain why some people respond well to a drug whereas others may experience serious side effects. The InVite Study is a collaborative effort between 23andMe and Genentech to learn more about how genes influence response to bevacizumab (also known as Avastin®) in the treatment of locally recurrent or metastatic breast cancer, metastatic colorectal cancer, metastatic non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer, recurrent glioblastoma, or metastatic renal cell carcinoma.02/05/2013
