Effect of Spironolactone for One Year on Endothelial Function and Vascular Inflammation Biomarkers in Renal Transplant Recipients.

Since no beneficial effect of MR blockade on vascular biomarkers was found, aldosterone is likely not a major promoter of vascular dysfunction in renal transplant patients.
