ConclusionsClinicians should be aware of this potentially lethal complication of Guillain-Barr é syndrome and the therapeutic options, because early diagnosis can improve prognosis. Routine electrocardiographic and echocardiographic assessments should be performed in patients with Guillain-Barré syndrome presenting with hemodynamic instability.
