Stop-smoking program extended at Milwaukee Heart Institute

The University of Wisconsin-Madison's stop-smoking initiative will extend its offer of free testing, coaching and medications at Aurora Sinai Medical Center’s Milwaukee Heart Institute on Jan. 2. UW was awarded a $10 million grant in 2011 for the university’s second Wisconsin Smokers Health Study. The grant was from the National Heart Lung and Blood Institute, Bethesda, Md.
