Worsening renal failure in patients with acute heart failure: the importance of cardiac biomarkers

ConclusionsCardiac biomarkers, especially the s ‐HFABP, might predict the development of true WRF in AHF patients. Furthermore, the predictive value was higher in AHF patients without CKD than in those with CKD.
