Publication date: Available online 21 February 2019Source: Trends in Endocrinology & MetabolismAuthor(s): Dengbao Yang, Yihong WanAbnormal nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+) metabolism causes a wide spectrum of diseases. A recent study (Cell Rep. 2019;26:969–983) shows that postpartum NAD+ homeostasis is depressed.
