Laparoscopical approach to ovarian cancer and occult primary tumors in advanced stages
Introduction: A laparoscopical approach has successfully been used in the management of advanced ovarian cancer and occult primary tumours, namely in the obtention of histological confirmation, study of tumour resectability, second-look to evaluate response to chemotherapy and, in selected cases, complete cytoreductive surgery.
