Acute kidney injury as a rare manifestation of pediatric sarcoidosis: A case report and systematic literature review
ConclusionsSarcoidosis should be considered in children with acute kidney injury of an unknown etiology. A final diagnosis is established through a combination of the clinical and laboratory characteristics, radiological presentation, and histological features of noncaseating granulomas. A therapeutic schedule should be decided after a systemic assessment.
