Previously unknown genetic aberrations found to be associated with Alzheimer's progression

(The Mount Sinai Hospital / Mount Sinai School of Medicine) Researchers from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and Columbia University conducted a large-scale analysis of RNA from postmortem brain tissue, identifying specific RNA splicing events associated with the progression of Alzheimer's disease that will serve as a new resource for Alzheimer's research.
