Bilirubin Production Is Increased in Newborn Mice Exposed to Isoflurane.
CONCLUSIONS: ISO exposure can induce HO-1 expression in the liver and may explain the development of severe hyperbilirubinemia in postsurgical infants, especially in those undergoing hemolysis.
