AbstractPurpose of ReviewPost-implant management of sacral neuromodulation is crucial in ensuring the success of therapy. Common management dilemmas include various follow-up schedules, circumstances related to pregnancy, and the possible need for magnetic resonance imaging. Moreover, complications such as lack of or declining efficacy over time, painful stimulation, pain at the implantable pulse generator site, and wound complications need to properly be handled.Recent FindingsIn this chapter, each of these above-mentioned scenarios is explored, and the literature concerning them is reviewed. Tips regarding dealing with management dilemmas and practical resolutions of complications are discussed.SummaryIn this review, we have given a combination of analysis from the literature and practical suggestions based on years of experience in providing SNM therapy. These tips should be helpful in getting the best result after appropriate patient selection and implant technique have been employed.
