Phenotyping Adults with Non-Cystic Fibrosis Bronchiectasis:A 5-Year Cohort Study in a Azerbaijan medical University Center

Conclusion:Different clinical, functional and microbiological features were found of idiopatic, post-infectious and COPD-associated bronchiectasis.COPD-related bronchiectasis is characterized with freguent exacerbations of disease, more rapidly decline of FEV1 and more freguently association with pulmonary hypertension. Phenotyping of bronchiectasis in adults patients is necessary to validate their relevance in the management of bacterial colonization and specific complications of bronchiectasis.
